Sofitel President Palace Hotel, Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, has a hundred rooms, two bars, one inside and one by the swimming pool, a restaurant, a nightclub and halls for parties.

The project makes use of an expansion of the existing construction, an ancient Spanish colonial building intended to be used as a monastery. The work plan was developed with the aim to respect to the features of the original structure. The rooms were converted into a basic arrangement of the existing spaces, while public spaces (lobby and restaurant), service area (kitchen and utility rooms) and leisure areas (swimming pool, nightclub, and lounges) are located in the new volu
