Between 2003 and 2005 the former headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce was made into a new building that would host the Parliament of Malabo. The building is on two floors: the ground floor includes offices and secretariats, while the great central hall with its semicircle shape and steps is on the upper floor.

This hall can accommodate 120 MPs, is entirely covered with wood paneling and the walls are richly decorated with frescoes.
